O1 Properties Joins “Best Employers in Russia” Rating

O1 Properties, one of the largest owners of class-A office real estate in Moscow, entered the Forbes magazine rating, “Best Employers in Russia”.

 

This year’s Rating not only assessed HR practices of companies, but also considered ESG factors, i.e., commitment of companies to sustainable development principles. Companies were assessed under three headings: “Employees and Society”, “Environment” and “Corporate Governance”. The first heading considered eight metrics: “Salary”, “Training”, “Social package”, “Staff turnover”, “Injuries”, “Job creation”, “Charity and infrastructure development” and “Systemic measures”. The second heading includes five metrics: “Negative impacts and penalties”, “Resource use”, “Expenditure on environmental protection”, “Environment policy” and “Climate policy”. Metrics under the third heading were: “Number of independent directors on the board of directors”, “Gender diversity”, “Compliance”, “Supervisory environment”, and “Transparency”. Based on evaluations for each heading the jury rated each company as Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze.

 

O1 Properties received Gold for “Employees and Society” and for “Corporate Governance”, and Silver for “Environment”.
