Stanislavsky Factory to take part in exhibition devoted to Moscow’s textile manufacturing heritage

November 9, 2017. The Stanislavsky Factory business centre will take part in the exhibition Presnya and the Capital’s Textile Manufactures, which will be held from 10 November to 31 January 2017 at the Presnya Museum in Moscow (a division of the Central Museum of Contemporary Russian History).

The exhibition deals with the major centres of textile production in pre-revolutionary Moscow, their role in determining the history and appearance of the city, as well as the process of functional rethinking of former industrial territories in the modern capital. Some of the exhibits are from museum collections, while others are from collections preserved at former manufacturing sites, which have now been adapted for modern use. The Stanislavsky Factory is one such site.
