Bolshevik nominated as a winner of International Property Awards

October 28, 2016. Bolshevik cultural and office complex nominated as a winner of the prestigious annual International Property Awards 2016. The flagship project of O1 Properties was awarded the “five stars” diploma as the best redevelopment project in Europe. The awarding ceremony took place on October 27 in London.

The international jury of the Best Commercial Renovation / Redevelopment nomination honored Bolshevik with the highest possible rating. Convenient location, unorthodox architecture, functional layout, internal infrastructure, sustainability, compliance with safety standards and ingenuous marketing solutions were mentioned among the key performance indicators.

Bolshevik cultural and office complex is located on the territory of the former confectionery factory on Leningradskiy Avenue in Moscow. The complex was originally built in late XIX century following the design of French architect Oscar Dio. Three historical buildings of Bolshevik were awarded status of cultural heritage sites. In the course of renovation after the blueprints of UK-based John McAslan+Partners Architects the original exterior of historic industrial facilities was restored, while the territory was transformed into a contemporary Class A cultural and office center. In 2016 the Museum of Russian Impressionism was launched at Bolshevik.
